On Shaheed Diwas, March 23, Randeep Hooda announced his next film
He is going to do a biopic on the revolutionary freedom fighter, Veer Savarkar
Randeep shared photo in instagram and announced the film.He captioned the post, “Kuch kahaniyaan batayi jaati hai aur kuch jee jaati hain! Grateful, excited and honoured to be part of #SwatantraVeerSavarkar's biopic (sic).”
The film will be directed by Mahesh Manjrekar.
The film has been titled Swatantra Veer Savarkar.
It will be produced by Anand Pandit and Sandeep Singh
Vinayak Damodar Savarkar was born on May 28, 1883, he was a freedom fighter, politician, lawyer, writer and social reformer.
Mahesh Manjrekar said,"Swatantra Veer Savarkar will be an edgy cinematic narrative that will force us to revisit our history."
