They are currently in third place and should be feeling much better following a rocky start to the second leg. Bangalore’s bowlers were crucial in their victory. The way they pulled things back and clipped the Rajasthan’s high-flying wings at one point was incredible. On a good batting pitch, their bowling after the 11th over pulled Rajasthan down and restricted them to just 149 runs. The chase got off to a great start as well, with Virat Kohli and Devdutt Padikkal building a strong partnership. They struggled a little after losing Padikkal, and Kohli was also sent packing by a direct toss from Riyan Parag shortly after. Rajasthan, on the other hand, were unable to grasp the opportunity, as Srikar Bharat and Glenn Maxwell formed a mature alliance to take the wind out of their sails.
