Kali Chaudas is an important day dedicated to the worship of Goddess Kali, which falls a day before Diwali. It is believed that on this day, Goddess Kali killed the demon Raktabija, who was a powerful demon that could create clones of himself every time a drop of his blood fell on the ground. Kali defeated Raktabija by drinking all of his blood before it could fall to the ground. Here are the steps to perform the Kali Chaudas Pooja Ritual:
- On the day of Kali Chaudas, wake up early in the morning and take a bath.
- Clean the house and decorate it with flowers and rangoli.
- Install an idol of Kali and light a lamp with country ghee with devotion.
- Pray to the Goddess to remove all evil spirits and negativity from the house.
- In the evening, light the lamp again and seek the blessings of the Goddess.
