Cricket icon MS Dhoni celebrated his 43rd birthday with his wife Sakshi Singh and Bollywood superstar Salman Khan in Mumbai.
Dhoni was in town for the grand sangeet ceremony of Anant Ambani and Radhika Merchant. Many famous cricketers were invited to the جشن (jashn – celebration) hosted by billionaire Mukesh Ambani for his son’s upcoming wedding.
Videos emerged online showing Dhoni dancing with Salman Khan and Ranveer Singh at the star-studded event. Later, Salman Khan surprised Dhoni by joining his birthday bash!
In a viral video, Dhoni cuts his cake with Sakshi by his side, while Salman Khan looks on. Dhoni sweetly feeds cake to his wife first, then offers a piece to Salman Khan, who happily accepts it.
Salman Khan even shared a photo on Instagram, wishing Dhoni a happy birthday and calling him “Kaptaan Sahab” (Captain Sir).
Dhoni is widely regarded as one of the greatest cricket captains ever. Under his leadership, India won the 2007 T20 World Cup, the 2011 World Cup, and the 2013 Champions Trophy.
Dhoni retired from international cricket in 2020, with his last match being the 2019 World Cup semi-final.
He’s also the most successful IPL captain alongside Rohit Sharma, having led Chennai Super Kings (CSK) to a record five IPL titles. Dhoni stepped down as CSK captain before the 2024 season, handing the reins over to Ruturaj Gaikwad.
