PDP chief Mehbooba Mufti joined the Bharat Jodo Yatra in Awantipora, Jammu & Kashmir today and warmly greeted by Congress MP Rahul Gandhi and party’s general secretary Priyanka Gandhi Vadra. The three leaders hugged each other in a show of unity and support. The Bharat Jodo Yatra, led by the Congress party, aims to unite the people of India and promote national integration. Mehbooba Mufti’s presence at the event is believe as a significant development as she is a prominent political leader in Jammu & Kashmir.
The PDP chief’s decision to join the yatra is being consider as a move towards strengthening the opposition’s unity in the region. The political leaders were also having a conversation and discussing the ongoing political scenario in the state.
