Jio recently made changes to their recharge plans, including:
- Price adjustments for most plans
- Removal of some older plans
- Updates to features of existing plans
Important changes:
- Unlimited 5G data removed from many plans: You can still get unlimited 5G data, but with new “True 5G Unlimited Plans”.
- New “True 5G Unlimited Plans” add unlimited 5G to existing plans: Jio users on existing plans like “Value” plans or those with 1GB/1.5GB daily data can add these “True 5G Unlimited Plans” on top of their current plan to get unlimited 5G data. These new plans come with some FUP (Fair Usage Policy) data for 4G usage.
Here are the new “True 5G Unlimited Plans” offered by Jio:
- Rs 51 plan: Valid for the remaining validity of your main plan, offers 3GB of 4G data + unlimited 5G data.
- Rs 101 plan: Valid for the remaining validity of your main plan, offers 6GB of 4G data + unlimited 5G data.
- Rs 151 plan: Valid for the remaining validity of your main plan, offers 9GB of 4G data + unlimited 5G data.

The minimum recharge amount required to keep your Jio SIM active has also increased.
