Taapsee said that she might have agreed to do a movie like Animal based on the script, but the way the scenes are filmed can change how the audience perceives them. She explained using her experience in the movie Badla where she played a negative character. In the movie, her darkness was not glorified.
Taapsee also talked about the importance of actors considering the impact of movies on viewers. She mentioned that unlike some other countries, Indian cinema often features clear heroes and villains.
