In Dubai, Shreyas Iyer and captain Rishabh Pant put together a powerful middle-order partnership as Delhi Capitals eased to an easy 8-wicket victory over Sunrisers Hyderabad. Prithvi Shaw was eliminated early in the DC chase by Khaleel Ahmed. After Rashid Khan broke up his partnership with Shreyas Iyer, Shikhar Dhawan was the next to go for 42. The Delhi Capitals had earlier restricted the Sunrisers Hyderabad to 134 for 9 with an all-round bowling performance.

For DC, the most notable players were Kagiso Rabada and Anrich Nortje. After Sunrisers Hyderabad won the toss and chose to bat first against Delhi Capitals in match no. 33 of the Indian Premier League in Dubai today, Nortje bowled David Warner for a duck in the opening over, while Rabada sent back Wriddhiman Saha. Two more wickets were taken by Axar Patel and Kagiso Rabada, while SRH lost Kane Williamson and Manish Pandey.

Nortje returned to eliminate Kedar Jadhav, and Axar was rewarded with a second in the form of Jason Holder. Rabada then terminated Adbul Samad’s cameo to earn his third win of the season.
